I know it is good cause in the old days with old coffee maker mornings were HELL. Now all is well. This why I'm buying her another new one, the water pipes in our new place have excess rust and the minerals sitting in the tank overnight have caused her coffee to start tasting funny by her. The fiter basket comes out easily and will stand up by itself on the counter to put the coffee in. This eliminates the inevitable occurance of stry coffe grounds going into the resevoir and getting burned in the brewing process. It is hard to find good appliances like this! ...more
