However it was used so much that it wore out. It lasted about 10 years. However I could never find one to replace it that I liked. Well now Capresso has finally come up with a model that is better than the one I used to own. It makes a wonderful HOT cup of coffee and it tastes so great! The price tag was still on the bottom and I thought that $16.95 was WAY too steep. However, I liked it so much I wanted to buy one for a gift. What is the deal with the prices??? My friend had one with the green straw and around Christmas I almost purchased the one with the red and white straw but I didn't because I figured I'd be able to buy it after Christmas for less. I was wrong.
